Delinquent Account Policies

Late fees will now be assessed after the due date on invoices automatically. All accounts will have a net 15-payment window unless you have already been granted net 30. If you need net 30 for accounting reasons, we can discuss it. Late fees will be 1% of the overdue balance or $10 whichever is larger, and will accumulate each month.

Accounts more than 30 days overdue will enter “suspended” status. This means that your website will be suspended from operation, but not removed from the server. The suspension does not cause loss of data or files, but might affect your search engine position. Late fees will accumulate and re-start fees may apply.

Accounts more than 90 days overdue will enter “terminated” status. This means that your data and files will be archived and your site will be removed from the server. Full account payment required before any additional work is performed. Future client work will require pre-payment. Accounts over 90 days are also subject to other collection processes and fees.

Effective November 1, 2001, Returned checks will be assessed a charge of $20 for each time they are submitted to the bank. The bank charges us for this so we charge our customers. If checks are returned twice, a wire transfer, certified check or money order will be required to settle your account.

Effective November 1, 2001, if there is a pattern of delinquency with your account, a fee of $5 will be charged each time we re-send an invoice. This does not apply to occasional lost invoices or infrequent problems. This fee covers overhead in re-invoicing.

Returned Check Charge – $20.

Support Policy

Telephone support for customer issues is considered a billable activity after the first 10 minutes in a given day. If the issue is related to errors caused by Buzzmaven, Inc. this will not be the case. I will let you know during our phone conversation that the billable time period has started. There may be exceptions to this policy.
