How do you build traffic on websites?

If I were required to answer this question in just a few sentences, I’d sum it up like this

• Produce content that people want to read and share.
• Make it easy for Search Engines to find and index your site.
• Constantly work to build links to your site from authority websites and encourage sharing of your content on social networks.
• Utilize multiple channels of traffic, don’t depend entirely on Google.

I realize that none of these are simple “hands off” solutions.  All of them require your business to contribute to your own SEO success.   The most important thing you can do, long term, is to develop high quality content and be sure that search engines see and index those pages.  Your knowledge of the customer is essential, and combined with my advice about search volume and user behavior, a good approach can be created.
