During our drive back from South Carolina, we had to stop at one of the Tennessee Fireworks stores. You see in Tennessee, the laws on fireworks are much looser than Kentucky or many surrounding states, so you can get some serious firepower here.
We didn’t buy anything major, but the experience itself was a textbook case of creative marketing 101. Patriotic names for the products such as “37 Gun Salute Kit” and “Shock and Awe Package” demonstrated headline marketing at its best.
